True Rider. It's finally here! KING Magazine presents the very first issue of RIDES, the illest car mag ever. Since we have the game tied up (stop trippin') with our sexy women coverage in KING, it's only right that we serve yout the best that the automotive industry has to offer with RIDES. What had been just the car section in KING Magazine for close to two years - focusing on fly customized celeb cars as well as exclusive rim and wheel stories - has become so popular we had to spinit off into its own magazine.
Trust me, making RIDES has been an enjoyable yet extremely tedious undertaking. The KING team worked hard to gather the perfect mix of high-end autos, from the Cadillac Sixteen to street demons like the tuned-up Subaru WRX, to balance the wild and ever-changing world of car lovers. We understand your need for speed and style, which is why we covered all the bases in between a celeb-driven car mag (like DUB - y'all hot!) by providing actor/R&B star Tyrese and the car of 2 Fast 2 Furious fame and street showcases (like PLUSH - y'all gangsta, too) by hitting up NYC & LA for regular cat's rides. To add a l'il twist, we threw in some techy information, a la Automobile and Road & Track, for our Maybach and Bentley stories. We didn't take it all the way out, to where neither you nor we could understand the jargon, but there are just enough buzz words to keep you informed on what's hot now and what trends to look out for (check our color coded rim story). I can talk all day about how we were the first and only mag to get an exclusive photo shoot with the amazing Cadillac Sixteen, (which is what I'm stunnin' next to above) or how we got the dopest custom car package ever put together and more rims to choose from than any other mag, but enough about us...this mag is about you. The reader. If there are automotive innovations, trends, car crash stories, new wheel ideas, or just anything you deem hot enough for RIDES, send it in. And don't think we gonna slack on our end-this is just the start of another beautiful relationship.
