Statement

It all started a couple of years ago with a subscription only monthly video compilation thing, which became a subscription-only monthly magazine/video combo thing, which became a subscription-only 16-times-a-year magazine/compilation-CD and/or video combo thing, which now becomes a monthly newsstand and/or subscription magazine and/or CD combo. Anyhow, it's not really that complicated when you get right down to it. Basically huH debuted as a music magazine in September 1994, our first issue featuring an exclusive cover-story interview with Scott Weiland of Stone Temple Pilots, plus articles on two up and coming punk bands called Offspring and Green Day, a new rapper by the name of Coolio, and tons of other insightful, fun, way-ahead-o'the-game stuff....

...Here's the deal. We don't talk down to you. We don't talk up to you, and we basically just try our best not to bore the hell out of you - which would seem like a very obvious thing, but look at some of the other music magazines on the stnads and you'll see that it's not. We are you in a sense, just because we're truly music fans ourselves - which would seem like another key requirement of music journalism, but again, it's not. Neither is haivng a personality, a sense of humor, a taste in music, a life or any discernible skill. But we're proud of the fact that writers (and editors, photographers, designers, etc.) must possess at least one or two of these qualities to be involved with us. In other words, we like what we're doing, and we like the idea that you're reading what we're doing. Therefore we try to do it right.
